We wanted to take advantage of being in Colorado this summer, so our first "road trip" destination was Vail, Colorado! Vail has been my favorite place to experience so far. Vail village is so dreamy, and there are so many things to see and do - even in the summertime!
We started our morning by eating breakfast at the Little Diner. It was such a cute breakfast spot, and the food was delicious!
After breakfast, we of course had to shop around to look for souvenirs. There was no shortage of souvenir shops, I had to force myself to stop going in them because I could've bought something in each one!
After we were done shopping, we walked from Lionshead village to Vail village. Seeing all the shops and beautiful scenery along the way made it seem like a very quick walk. Once we got to Vail Village, we went to Unravel Coffee (because you can't start your morning of adventures without a coffee, right?!). I fell in love with this coffee shop, their to-go cups are actually glass jars, so that you can reuse them! It was so cool, and I was even more excited when they told me they have a location in Denver!
We then took the Gondola up the mountain and went for a 1.5 mile hike, the views were incredible - I still can't get over it! Our hike took us across the mountain to the other Gondola, where there is also a restaurant.
Once we took the Gondola down, we were back in Lionshead Village.
