Session at Silver Lake Sand Dunes

Carissa is actually one of my best friends, so I was so excited when she reached out and asked if she could book a couple's session with me! Silver Lake Sand Dunes is a very special place for both of us, our families took family vacations there every summer growing up, and still to this day!

I was so excited for this session, not only because Carissa is one of my best friends, but because I couldn't wait to capture the love between her and Christian. These two were naturals in front of the camera, and I loved being able to showcase the happy, energetic love that they have!

When I have a session, I really strive to make it seem as natural as possible... not too posed, but with enough direction where my couples/families aren't wondering what they should do. I achieve this through starting out with poses like running, walking towards me, lifting and spinning, and the rest just falls into place from there... it becomes unique to the couple/clients.
