A Dreamy & Unique Mountain Engagement Session

When Gillian and Michael reached out to book an engagement session with me, they definitely had mountain views and fall vibes in mind for their session. Well, it's finally the day of their session and there happens to be a winter storm warning for the area where we're taking pictures! We definitely could have rescheduled, but all three of us were so excited for the session and decided to try it. I can 100% say that it was the best decision we could've made!

The session started out so foggy, you couldn't even see the mountains. When I started taking pictures, I couldn't stop saying how obsessed I was with how the pictures were looking! The fog gave such a unique vibe and definitely added to the pictures. By the end of the session, it had started snowing and it fit PERFECTLY with the blanket they had brought to keep warm, so we ended up incorporating into the pictures.

The weather was not at all what we envisioned for this photoshoot, but it couldn't have been any more perfect. How many people get a beautiful blanket of fog & snow for their engagement pictures?! It was so dreamy, and definitely became one of my favorite sessions to date.
